Exams are finally over. Again, I foresee another round of disappointment upon receiving my results. I am crossing my fingers and pray hard that I can score at least 50marks in order to proceed to other papers. I dread studying, especially preparing for this professional examination.

Planned a list of post exams activities to be completed before I fly to KCH with dear dear. Completed most of my To-Do List. Next few days will be occupied with meet-ups! I miss those people whom I am going to meet. So many things to catch up with them. The next few days will be very eventful. Haha...

I am going to apply for a new job. Wish me all the best to be employed by that particular company. =)

Stressed! Stressed! Stressed! I AM DESPERATE FOR A DE-STRESSING SESSION!

I may start hunting for jobs after my exams. No morale to work. Furthermore, the thought of my employment contract makes me super sian. Which sector should I join? I will have to make a decision after my exams. I guess it would either be tax or audit. Going to give other sectors a chance instead of coping myself with only payments, accruals and etc. I should venture other sectors since I am still considered young. Haha...

Fatigue, lethargy, restless, listless, exhaustion got over me this week. I am so worn out. The devil within me always claims victory thus leading to no revisions done for the whole of this week.

I can't help sinking into self-sympathy. Recurring questions keep appearing in my weary brain. Even mummy finds me nag like an old lady. But I simply can't stop doing that! I must pull myself out of this monthly shit and get down to what I am supposed to do.

I finally got my hands on the classy wallet I placed my eyes on! Ta da!!! Retail therapy does help to soothe my stress level. :]

I have been burning midnight oil every day. Sacrificing my very deprived beauty sleep to study till 2 or 3am. Really trying very hard to revise through my studies so that I can practice past year exam questions or memorise those theories. Argh! The evidence of these late nights is reflected on my face. Hate it. Contemplating whether to go for facial this Saturday. Should I or should I not??? The opportunity cost would of course be my revision time and probably more pimples will pop over the month till my next appointment.

Lesson on coming Sunday. Super sian. Next week onwards is my super duper busy week; company closing, dad's accounts, revision lessons and actual lessons ongoing. When can I ever get out of this hectic life? I yearn to sleep, shop and do whatever I please during my free time. But where can I dig some free time out? I dread this kind of life. I must pass my papers as soon as possible else I will die of exhaustion one day.

For no reason, I felt so emo all of a sudden. I yearn for his hugs. Miss him so much. Probably due to the monthly women thingy, causing my hormones to go haywire and thus this sudden intense mood swing. Or maybe I am too stressed with my revision. -shrugs-

Sometimes I thought I was dreaming. Having such a great boyfriend does give me insecurity at times. I will often get paranoid and worried that he will leave me one day. If this is a dream, let me be the sleeping beauty in the fairy tale and sleep till he appears and wakes me up. No matter what, I will always treasure my times spent with him. I will always remind myself to treasure everyone around me, though I really do not know how to go around doing it.

I am SOOOOOOO deprived
- of sleep
- of adequate time to study
- of money
- of leisure
- of time to meet up with my dear friends
- of higher salary
- of exercise
and the list goes on and on....

Time is my most crucial element. I seriously do wish there is at least 48hours a day. But this is a wish that will never ever be granted. This is when time management comes in the picture. I am trying hard to plan my time. Less than 2 months to my exams. I have registered for 3 papers but I only intend to take 2. Most probably taking MC for one of the papers.

I am crossing my fingers for those 2 papers. Hope everything goes smoothly for me this time round. I am really tired of studying, working and managing family matters every month. I need a getaway and revamp this life! Looking forward to 31 December 2009 - the last day of 2009 and hopefully a perfect brand new 2010 for me.

Sometimes I do wonder "Who am I living for?" Never ending housework to do. Start of every month, I have to do my dad's accounts. I have my fair share of priorities. But it seems like I don't have adequate time for myself. I need to study too. I am also working. I do feel stressed having to juggle so many things. I know women are good at multi-tasking and wearing many hats at different point of time. However, this is too much for me to handle with only 24 hours daily! I feel so suffocated. Count your blessings if you do not have to many responsibilities.

Tomorrow, I will have 2 grandmaSS living under the same roof. I can't imagine what will happen at home or me. Other than having a great bf, I felt the other aspects of my life are in a total mess.

Recently, one of my finance colleagues left our company for a better offer. Company freeze head count so her work load was divided among the 2 of us. The past 1 month was my busiest period in office. On certain period, I was so busy that I find it hard to breathe. I have deadlines to meet every week. Boss keeps msn-ing me asking me for recon. Hello! Payments are more important or your supplier recon? Vendors will call and chase me for payments and not bug you for supplier reconciliations. Please weigh the priorities before asking me for recon. If Japan headquarters need it, recon it yourself.

Wage freeze too thus can't bargain for higher pay when I am doing so much more than when I first joined the company. I want to finish my studies asap and look out for better jobs. Pathetic pay with tremendous things to do. How can I save money with my take home salary? I remember the first time when I got my salary, I gave my parents each $150. My mom said "Huh. You give us so little arh." Haiz... I really don't understand why nothing nice comes out of my mom's mouth.

People can pass their exams smoothly but why can't I? The decision to take up ACCA is utterly wrong. I regretted it. But I am already halfway through this and there is no way and too late for me to turn back. I just have to continue this path and hope it will reap me with good jobs in future. When people know what cert I am taking, they will go "WOW, it is not easy" or "WOW, it is a very recognised certificate." So what if ACCA is widely recognised? I don't give a damn especially when so many people are taking it even old and uncivilised aunties. It is just a matter of time graduating with an ACCA certificate.

I thought of what THAT EX-CLASSMATE COMMENTED ABOUT ME 2 years ago. I still remember that whole sentence. I still feel indignant about it. The thought of that sentence still makes me furious. I hope that you will keep failing your ACCA exams and never graduate. Let this be my birthday greetings to you every year.

You can say that I am childish, immature or vengeful. I don't care. For this case, I will not forgive neither will I forget.

Procrastinating is what I ace at. I had been putting off my plan to swim. Finally, I managed to go according with what I planned on Saturday. YEAH! I went swimming with dear dear after we send uncle to the airport around 7+ on Saturday morning. Saturday mornings are reserved specially for my beauty sleep but I woke up earlier than my working days. Haha...

I would conclude Saturday is a day well spent doing quality stuffs. Swam, did part of the accounts and went to buy sofa bed at night. Thanks dear dear for spending the whole Saturday with me. Muacks.

I seriously think I am getting addicted to swimming. But I would still reject the idea of swimming under the hot sun at the expense of me getting tan. I don't want! Haha... I need to exercise more to regain higher metabolism rate. It has been declining at a tremendously fast rate that's why the fats on my body are increasing at a tremendously fast rate! Help! Hope swimming and using the zapping machine and apply slimming lotions in tandem can let me regain my previous figure (though I don't have a really svelte figure previously).

I have so many things to blog but I have to find time to sit down to write about it. Time out for lunch break. Ciaoz...

I am boiling inside at this very moment. Accounts were passed to her weeks ago. I did all the arrangements myself and counted the bulk of the accounts all by myself without the help of anyone. After that, I rushed most of the accounts overnight despite having to work on the next day.

I passed those "Not-so-urgent" companies to let her do. To date, nothing much has been accomplished. Last night, when I was about to sleep, I called her and reminded her to complete those remaining ones otherwise payments would be delayed by those companies. Again, nothing has been done!

Just when I was about to hang up the call with dear dear and go to bed, she came in and asked me to help her do the accounts. I was really pissed! I DID MY PART AND SO SHOULD YOU! DON'T COME TELLING ME YOU PITY DADDY FOR WORKING SO HARD AND BLAH AND NO ACTIONS BEING DONE ON YOUR PART. PLEASE DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE AND STOP SAYING ALL THESE WHEN NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. YOU ARE AN EXPERT WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING EXPENSIVE STUFFS AND NOTHING ELSE. IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE ON EARTH FOR? PLEASE THINK THOROUGHLY WHAT YOU HAD BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 19YEARS OF YOUR LIFE. Upon receiving an sms from my mother, I had to cancel all my appointments and plans. Grandma and cousin from Kuching is coming to Singapore tomorrow.

There goes my facial appointment and present seeking session. Cousin sms mom on Friday that they are coming on Saturday which the immediately the next day! Oh wells... Nothing can be done as the air ticket has been booked.

Dine with dear dear at Swissotel Hotel after work. They offer the best "清汤" I ever had. It is neither too hot or cold. It tastes just nice for both of us. The fruits are juicy and sweet. The curry soup is OMG, so heavenly! Too bad my stomach was filled to the brim, otherwise I will definitely try the cakes. Looking forward to more dining at Swissotel. Hehe... Thanks dear dear!

I realise I have too many files and thus, I bought this magical and amazing file that reduces half of the files usage!

I managed to use 4 files for the bulk of my 3 years poly notes. The right compartment consists of empty files.

Amazing yeah? And these files costs me around $2 each!

Colleagues recommended me to consult the famous skin doctor at Tampines. After much consideration, I finally made a very decisive decision. Tagged my colleague's car to Tampines as she is on her way home. Thanks a million Grace!

Hopefully I can claim this from company. Haha...In that case, I do not have to use any single cent of my own. Hehe...

Singaporeans are getting more and more uncivilised nowadays. I was in queue no. 3 while waiting for the clinic to open. Once the shutters were removed, they "CHIONG" into the clinic and I became in queue no. 7! Fuming inside but those who queued in front of me who were overtaken kept quiet. This clinic has benches outside for patients to sit which also represent their queue numbers. One particular doctor only sees 40 patients per session. There was once my colleague went to queue at 6am just to consult her and her queue number is already 20+. (FYI, the clinic opens at 9am everyday). So can you imagine what time did number 1 came to queue?

After observing from far the skin of patients who came back to purchase their skin products, I am more optimistic that their products can help me. I am crossing my fingers. No matter how expensive it is, I really hope using their products can cure my woes and problematic areas.

Thanks dear dear for being so supportive of me consulting this doctor and even went all the way to Tampines to fetch me home after your work. Appreciated! (:

I decided to get a bigger computer table and use a portion of it as my study desk. So dear dear and I went Ikea to get my ideal desk. Just a few hours of shopping at Tampines Ikea caused me burn a hole in my pocket. I finally bought the chair I long wanted! Yeah!

I finally found time to visit Dear dear's grandma. Really glad that she is feeling much better. With the care of dear dear's family, she will definitely get well. Played weeeee (Wii) for awhile before we head off to prescribe a new pair of spectacles. Not sure if the spects look good on me because I was unable to see clearly. Haiz... I need my new pair of contact lens desperately! Hate putting on glasses when I am out.

The whole Saturday evening was spent on revamping my room. Furniture was rearranged. My room look so much smaller than the previous arrangements. Wanted to arrange them in the way I wanted but mummy don't allow due to superstitious reasons as usual. Otherwise, my room will be more spacious.

The period after exams and before lessons start is the best! Relaxed and carefree. I like... Hehe...

Dear dear brought me to the movies to catch the 3D show - "Monsters vs Aliens". It is my 1st time watching a 3D movie and is quite an interesting experience. We have to wear the 3D glasses so as to be able to see effects that come to life. But to my disappointment, there isn't enough 3D effects to satisfy my expectations. I was looking forward to more but it is alright. Next movie, Up! I hope it has more 3D effects.

Bugis BHG was having closed door sales for POSB cardholders. Storewide 30% off and Sales item before this storewide sale are entitled to additional 15%! Good deal right? So we went for this sale after our movie. The crowd there was horrendous! We queued for 1hr before we can make our payment for 3 items. Horrible and terrible right?

After waiting for so long, we got really hungry and went Fish & Co for dinner. I was quite pissed off with their service.

Firstly, we waited outside the restaurant waiting to be seated as we saw a sign writing this "Please wait to be seated". Nothing unusual about this sign. Thus, we waited outside. Just then, a couple just opened the restaurant's door and went in STRAIGHT without queuing. Fine. We did not show any sign of displeased as we only waited for a couple of minutes.

Food was ordered shortly after we were seated. We waited and waited and waited. But our food was not served to us after half an hour. We both saw other people who came in much later than us were already served with their orders and ours still yet to be seen. I joked with dear dear that they are still trying to catch our fish.

"A hungry person is an angry person" is a really true phrase. Half an hour passed and I urged dear dear to check with them our orders. The manager came over and told us their chef got our orders mixed up. WTH! I was boiling inside.

M: Sorry. Can you please give me your orders again? My chef got your orders mixed up. I will get the food served in 3 minutes.
Me: We were already very hungry and this kind of things happens. So many other customers came in SO MUCH LATER than us and got their food SO MUCH EARLIER than us. We waited for half an hour till now then you tell me your chef got the orders mixed up. Is this the kind of service we should get?
M: Ok ok. Just give me your orders and I will get the food served in 3 minutes.

And so, we provided him with our orders.

3 minutes later....

Dear dear's coriander fish was served. My New York Fish & ~~Chips~~ Rice was yet to be seen. Minutes after, my main course came. Just when I was about to start eating, I realised they gave me fries instead of rice! I was furious. Dear dear waved for the waitress for me. She came and I told her what I initially ordered.

Me: I ordered for rice and you gave me chips. I waited for half an hour for my food and now my order is wrong. I am really very unhappy with the service.
Waitress: I'm sorry. I will let my manager know.

Food was changed to the right order. Manager came and apologised. He even told us to order a desert which will be on the house. I told dear dear that a piece of desert is unable to distinguish my anger. Discounts of at least 10% should be given. My wish was granted when we saw the receipt. Haha... Lucky us.

I'm back with my rantings. 1 paper down. Haiz... Was really disappointed. I failed terribly at spotting topics. I expected purchases to be tested but the examiner went ahead with his usual way of testing. (for all june papers, he tested sales system). I thought there will be a total breakthrough this june!

Worst still, I think all that i had studied, only 10 or 20% was tested. Anyway, no use crying over spilled milk. I must pull up my socks and get started with my revision for the paper tomorrow.

I am mugging "HARD" for my audit paper in the library. Tmr is the day and i seriously think I am not well prepared enough to fight this battle of just scoring 50 marks.

I certainly think i should start consuming ginko to nourish my brain and make it more efficient in memorising those theory papers. If this long term measure is able to assist me for this short term exams, I will be most willing to do so.

Its time for me to really mug hard. Please give me brain power!!! Haha...

2 more days to my exams on Wednesday at RI. I cant help feeling something is amiss. Why? I have no idea. Is it that i am going to flunk my exams? I certainly hope not. I need assurance that i can pass! Bt no one is able to do that. Having stuck in this level for so long makes me feel suffocated. I need to progress to the Professional Level!

I really need to pass! Even a mere pass of these 2 papers is enough to make me open a big celebration. I hope my 9 days of leave does not go down the drain. Please wish me all the best, luck and my brain functions extremely well on that 2 days of 3.25hrs of paper. I will jia you and make my remaining 2 days efficient and effective. I went Raffles Place to transit train and he approached me. -_-" Till then I realise he was all along near me after I finish work. =(

In the train, he told me he bought something for me to eat. He even claimed that he has Doreamon's 百宝袋 and asked me to guess what food he bought at the Pasar Malam. So I made a wild guess - 香肠. After I made my guess he urged me to guess something else and asked me why it can't be chicken wings or others. But that was the only food I can associate it with Pasar Malam. Haha... And I was right when he took it out from his bag. Haha...

Although it was a very small surprise which may appear meaningless to you, but I love it! He is just so cute lah! I really don't know how to put it into words. Haha...

难道这已成了习惯？当我知道你因为学校的project而不能陪我去考试，我不知道为什么突然感到很伤心，眼泪涌了出来。我不应该这样因为你的学业比较重要。我想起考试那天的爱心午餐和你总是会默默的在我家客厅看报纸或是和我的猫玩。然而，我就会在房间准备。

去年的考试有你在考场外面为我打气的确有分别。6点钟一到，我就迫不及待得想冲出考场见你。不管考试有多难，一看见你，心情就即刻好了很多。

今年的我应该会是十分寂寞的吧！少了你的爱心午餐，少了你陪我去考场，，少了你在考场外头等候，少了能够让我心情360° 转变的你在我身边。少了这些我现在的心情真的很差。我想这些无畏的想法应该是因为大姨妈来了吧。

I am so tired. Mentally and physically exhausted. Life has never been so routine and monotonous. Attending lessons are much more interesting than being closed up in an office. Most importantly, having nothing to do in the office! I think I am paid to rot my time away in office.

On a side note, I should be grateful that I am employed and still drawing a reasonable amount of salary every month.

I seriously think I am a workaholic. I like to be kept very busy from the time I enter office and till the time I knock off. Working here is mentally tormenting for me. On certain times of the month, I have to keep searching for things to do in order to keep me occupied till 5.45pm.

I miss working at Suntec but not the changing of seats issue of course. I miss those colleagues too. They are just so fun and interesting people to be with. I simply miss them. But they are no longer working at Suntec.

2 more months to exams and I have only just started studying not revising. Haiz… Keep telling myself that I have to complete my ACCA as soon as possible but I am just too lazy. At this rate I am going, I do not have the slightest idea when I will finish studying.

I envy those who completed their studies and able to take leave for holidays. My leave are all meant for studies as this company does not have Study Leave like what Big 4 offers. I want to travel with dear dear. I want to go Taiwan. But sad to say, my parents do not allow. My life is just so controlled. No point getting that whatsoever “freedom key” at the age of 21 because I am still locked! It is just a useless key.

Seriously, I think I am getting paid to surf the net (most of the time). Dear dear prefer my current job than be in audit line (I had actually wanted to join auditing).

As usual, I got super duper bored and went ebay.com.sg. Haha… I saw this Agnes B bag quite simple and nice. I wan!!!! But… Mummy helped me buy this Burberry bag at Changi Airport DFS when she went back to Kuching last month. Just that bag costs me a whopping $2,150. =( And I have yet to use it because I seriously need to find an appropriate bag organizer before I start using it.

That Agnes B bag I saw in ebay is quite cheap; $50. Most importantly, can put my notes in. But I need to save, save and save for I overspent on that Burberry bag already. L Is getting that bag a wrong move? I don’t know and I hope not. Anyway, what is done cannot be undone.

Results released but I did not have the courage to log in and check. Dear dear helped me check. He is just so cheeky. He messaged me and told me not to cry. Luckily I was not at my desk thus did not read that sms. Minutes later, he told me I passed my papers. Hahaha...

I am on cloud nine! Yeah! Finally, after 3 sittings, I passed my F5!!! Congrats to myself. I can just dump that whole stack of thick notes, revision notes, past year papers and everything related to that paper in an isolated corner of my room. This is the first time in ACCA exam that I passed all the papers that I took. Hope lady luck will continue to follow me. I shall be a good girl an never frighten you away. Pretty pretty please...

Hope I am able to balance my work, relationship and studies. I want to finish my studies as soon as possible. I want pay rise!!! I want more money!!! I need to work hard towards my goal.

Finally, I bought shades that I like! Dear dear drove me to Capitol for its warehouse sale. Did not manage to find an ideal spectacles but I found a shades that I love but it is very expensive. My Gucci shades costs $300/$400+ originally but I bought it for just $160! Haha... Great savings but there is a hidden reason behind which I am not going to say. :)

On the last day of 2008, dear dear and I went Pet Movers and Tampines Giant and Ikea. While he was driving, I cam-whored in the car. Haha... Being driven is so much then taking the wheels. The dogs are so irresistible. I have to urge to “kidnap” them home but I already have Tasha (my cat). Tasha dislikes dogs. She will hiss like a snake when she sees my neighbour’s dog. If the dog is near to her, she will even attempt to scratch the dog. Yes! She is one fierce kitty. Haha...

I saw this cordless phone at Giant that looks like a handphone! Haha... And the brand is the name of a car company – Hyundai. Interesting huh...

On the last day of 2008, I was given a very shiny $1 coin made in 2008! Haha... I shall keep it and hope it will bring me lots of luck. Haha...

Dear dear and I had dinner at Ikea which I find the concept very innovative and interesting. You can push a trolley that holds all your food instead of holding it with your hands. We ordered curry chicken, chocolate mousse, mushroom soup,can’t remember wat dish is that and lastly either fish/chicken burger which is meant for kids.

Dear dear and I like the curry chicken the most. The curry is not too spicy, the gravy is thick enough and the taste of the curry is perfect. I have a sudden craving for that while typing my entry. Haha...The mushroom is also not bad. At least it is not diluted unlike what is served in some places.

On every table, there is a message that reads “Clear your trays. Leave no trace”. Probably the Singapore government can consider having such message across all the food centres in Singapore in order to remind patrons to clear their utensils after food. Or even start a campaign to reward people who take initiative to clear their trays. Idea right?

Head home before the clock strikes 12am. Cinderalla have to be home to be with darling Tasha! Haha... Dear dear was at home with me, my parents and Tasha when we countdown to 2009. I like. Hehe...

My dearie BFF was so busy that I could only meet her on 29^th Dec which was 3 days after her actual birthday. Anyway, we went to the extended side of JP. Woah! The basement has a wide variety of food to choose from. We settled for New York New York because we saw the Cheesy Chicken. We shared the Cheesy Chicken and our all-time-favourite Carbonara coupled with Freezy Chocolate drink (something like that). I personally think that the Cheesy Chicken was not as cheesy as I expected. (Bear in mind my definition of cheesy is REALLY CHEESY).

I gave my BFF a Sony mp4 as her birthday present. She loves butterfly, but I was unable to find anything practical related to butterfly that she can use. Thought of necklace, but I had already given her a SK Butterfly necklace on her 21^st. Also, being a primary school teacher, wearing a necklace may not be that appropriate as it may break in the course of trying to control kids that are misbehaving. (Hmm... Am I thinking too much about this point? Probably. Haha...)

I choose mp4 because she does not have any and sometimes she relies on her handphone for songs. What if the hp battery gets almost drained off? Then she will be music-less. Music is an essential part of my life. Not sure is it hers. I’ll die of boredom without music in my ears when I am on the go.

She loves watching movies too! So getting an mp4 for her allows her to watch movies or listen to songs whenever she deems fit.

Seriously, I love the mp4 I got for her. The sound quality is good. Although some may complain about the 2.0 inch screen, but the colour and brightness quality is great! Unlike iPod, this mp4 does not require you to download any software in order to upload new songs or movies. She can just drag and drop. Perfect for her. The baby pink is also compatible when it is placed beside her new Sony camera. Haha...

But personally, I still yearn for Apple iTouch with the superb big screen. But I need to save money for 1 unless some kind soul out there is nice enough to contribute a few hundred for the iTouch I am dying to own. Hehe...

After shopping, we went for Javanese Massage at Jurong Kechil. It was so relaxing. I feel much better after my back and neck went “tiak tiak tiak”. Haha... Dear dear drove us home after that. Yeah!

Celebrated Dear dear’s slightly advanced birthday on Christmas Eve. We went Far East to shop where I bought a pink dress for CNY and a really nice Nike jacket at Nike (Wisma). Love the jacket. I think it has the WOW factor on whoever wears it. Dear dear thinks it is nice too. Haha… We had Tacho Pachi as our tea-break before we head for Marina Square.

When we reached Yuki Yaki, we realize the next available slot for our buffet is 10.15pm! And there were about 64 people before us. Gosh! But my intuition told me that not all the 64 people can afford to wait till 10.15pm so dear dear and I decided to wait. We went for free movies. Yeah. To be precise, movies uploaded in dear dear iPod Video. Haha… We watched 2 movies and just nice its time for dinner at Yuki Yaki. The time was not even 10pm. Haha… My intuition was so accurate. :D

The chicken soup and tom yam soup bases are nice. They have 2 types of steamboats for every table; the frying and boiling one. Nice and Yummy. I love the sweet and sour Dory Fish. Yum yum... Hmm… In fact, I love everything I had for dinner that night.

I decided to Audit paper a miss. I think I am not fully prepared. I don’t want to take this exam when I am not confident of getting a relatively good grade. Probably this trait runs in the blood of a perfectionist. I detest the thoughts of “Will I pass??? Will I fail???”. Really loathe all these. I want a confirmation. I want an “absolute certification” unlike an audit which is just an “assurance” instead of being an absolute certification. Just be typing the latter statement makes me recall why is Audit an assurance? Because of inherent limitations and etc... I can remember what I studied!!! WOW!!! But I am just not confident of stepping into the exam hall and start pouring out and scribbling all my audit theories. I really despise this “lack of confidence” self.

I must be fully prepared the next time round. I want to armed with “confidence + knowledge” when I enter the exam hall in June. I must be able to shoot all the questions down with ease. Yes. I hope that will be the “New Elizabeth” from June 2009 sitting onwards.

Mentioning the word shoot makes me think of the Mumbai Terrorist attack. I had been following the recent news that revolved around this young lawyer – Lo Hwei Yen who died tragically.

Imagine “A” saying good bye to the families and left Singapore for work just for a day. Most of the time, people will take it for granted that it is just a day. "A" will be back when the sun rises. But, things are happening every second, every minute, and every hour. This time, Hwei Yen left Singapore and came back lifeless. That is how fragile life is. So let us cherish the zest for life and through us, she lives on.

She was at her prime time of achieving more in life! I really pity her. Her another phase of life has just started with her husband not long ago. She still has such a long way to go with her husband, her career but her life ended just when the terrorist/s pulled the trigger. I was wondering what she was thinking at that spur of a moment. But I am certain that she may have left the world with regrets.

I really can’t see eye to eye with those terrorists for launching such attacks. Countless lives are lost to such senseless, cruel, cold-blooded attacks. Hello! I am not saying 1 or 2 lives, its hundreds! Those terrorists had better be shot in their head just like how the Hwei Yan was being shot.

I really don’t know what to say. My heart goes all out to the victims’ families and friends. Still, the world has to stay vigilant to such attacks. For all we know, they may be planning for more attacks in probably other parts of the world. 他们在暗, 我们在明. Things can just catch us unexpectedly.

On this coming Thursday, you may choose to wear black in remembrance of Hwei Yen as that is the way she would have wanted - Black Glamour. Or you may choose to observe a minute of silence in tribute to her.

May angels be embracing her with love to compensate for the pain that she had gone through.

Yesterday around 6.30pm, while revising my financial reporting paper, my house phone rang. All of a sudden, I had a very bad feeling. My intuition was telling me that call is to inform our family that Ah Lian Aunty has just passed away.

It rang for the 1st time and my sis answered the call. But the caller hangs up. It rang for the 2nd time. This time, my heart was really thumping hard. Really... After my sister hang up the call, she walked into my room and said, “Oh crap.” I was about to tell her what I was thinking but she said before I could say anything. My sister delivered the message from the caller, “Ah Lian Aunty just passed away.”

At that moment, I was both shocked and stunned for words. My 6th sense is really accurate and it makes me feel scary.

Should I be happy that she was called home by her Lord and frees her from further sufferings? She has been fighting with this evil, harmful, deadly, fatal, lethal, cruel, destructive, killing, murderous, malignant cancer virus since 2005 or 2006. She has never given up and so was everyone around her. My parents also seek for different ways to cure her, but to no avail.

Seriously, deep down in my heart, I wish she is still around. I will definitely miss her presence when I go to my parent’s shop. She is such a nice aunty. She always had a smile on her face. So caring, friendly and helpful towards everyone. She never bears any grudges against anyone and so selfless. Where on earth can you find more of this kind of people? This kind of 好人 is really getting lesser on earth.

I still remember Ah Lian Aunty packing lunch for my sis and I when she comes to my house to do housework. She was really hardworking and gives her best in everything she does. Once she started doing the housework, she seldom stops unless she finishes everything. Our house will always be spick and span with her around. Mummy also complements that her cleaning and everything is very good. To date, mummy has yet to find another cleaner better than her or at least as good as her.

She will be dearly missed and remembered by everyone. May she go back to the times where her life is filled with only happiness, great health and love by everyone.

Last Sunday, my sister showed me something which is really horribly GROSSED to the max! I can’t believe what I saw!

I can’t think who the culprit/s is/are other than “NEIGHBOUR/S!” Who else has the “opportunity” to do such uncivilised things? Someone living above us must have thrown all these fishes out of their window. But can’t they think twice before doing such evil actions? They wouldn’t want something similar to happen on them either. Anyway, it is ok. They will get their KARMA. It is just a matter of time.

This is not the first time our family experienced something like this...

The other day, I even witness a food wrapper flown into our kitchen window. Yes... The flying and landing process into my kitchen! Obviously someone living upstairs must have thrown it down. Otherwise where on earth will the wrapper fly into my house? Thrown by aliens from outerspace? Tsk Tsk Tsk... Evil aliens then...

I should have kept it and send it for some fingerprint testing and find out who the culprit is. After that, I will write mini notes about “THE MOST CONSIDERATE NEIGHBOUR” and put it into everyone’s letterbox. Haha... Then “THIS NEIGHBOUR” will be famous overnight. Oops... I mean “INFAMOUS”. :/

My parent’s quilt cover was also burnt with mini hole. Again... ALL THANKS TO THE VERY CIVILISED NEIGHBOUR/S.

I know air-con compressors are very prone to have rubbish landing on top of it. But the area around our compressor is like a mini rubbish bin! We have cigarette butts, cotton buds and etc. With such barbarians around, how can we maintain a “Clean and Green” environment which most visitors claim?

If things get really out of hand, I guess I only have to do what Singaporeans like – COMPLAIN!!! I shall complain to HDB, Town Council and whoever is able to do something. I shall get them to send warning letters to ALL THOSE LIVING ABOVE ME (not just 1 level because I am not sure who is/are the culprit/s). Hope bad karma will not haunt me for doing such evil acts. 2 weeks ago after my lesson, I went shopping at Jurong Point while waiting to meet dear dear after his lesson. After dear dear reached JP, I went for my lunch and started shopping.

We went to my all time favourite store – ToysRUS! Yeah... I feel so young the moment I stepped in. Haha... I see all sorts of toys. How technology advances. Comparing the toys I played when I was still a little kid and those sold in departmental stores now. Wow! How I wish I am still a kid today. Hehe...

Dear dear bought 2 pull back cars for his little cousin. I’ve seen his cousin before when I attended dear dear’s grandfather birthday a few weeks ago. UBER cute! U will have the urge to carry him and grab his attention. One thing, he can really eat a lot. Probably that explains his chubbiness.

I also bought the game I am dying to own one since young – Monopoly. They now come in a Travel Pack. Everything in there is mini-sized! Now, I can play it anytime I want. Yeah! Still, I will wish to own an original sized one. I may aim to buy the one with the electronic banking system. It looks cool and interesting.

I can’t wait to see all the mini-sized components of Monopoly so I got my sister to play with my on the very same day I bought it!

I guess I seriously need help with "How to maintain a good relationship with your Mom"! Should I call that as a quarrel or argument or cold war? I don't know. I just don't see what I did as something disrespectful.

Just now, my sister and her went to attend a funeral. I did not join them so I went home to study. My sister sms me to put a pail of water outside our house but I did not hear my phone ringing as I was in my living room watching "I survived a Japanese Gameshow".

They reached home and pressed the doorbell. I went to open the door and my mom asked me for the water. Thus, I filled up a pail of water and bring it out. I was ALREADY standing on our door mat OUTSIDE our house. My sister was removing her shoes and my mom was SITTING on the chair looking at me. (Those who came to my house before will know that there are 2 chairs and 1 table outside my house.) It was as if she was expecting me to walk all the way OUT to the table and put the pail in front of her. I was looking at her and my sister, expecting them to get the pail from me. NONE OF THEM DID IT!

I looked at the both of them for a couple of seconds. I was getting impatient so I put the pail on the floor with a loud "thump". My mom got angry JUST because I threw tantrum.

Seriously, was I in the wrong to expect either of them to take the pail over from me? Was I in the wrong to get angry? I am not a maid at home. I have MY OWN COMMITTMENTS too. I have my own stuffs to worry about also.

Everytime during counselling session, my mom will emphasis to the counsellor how much things she has to worry about and do and etc. She will mention how early she goes to work, how hard she slogged in our shop, how busy was she at shop. And when she reached home, how much housework she has to do. I seriously don't understand. If that's the case, who was the one who hang all the clothes? Who was the one who blend juices when she wants? Who was the one who wash ALL the dishes? Who was the one to wash ALL her undergarments? Who was the one who clears the cat's shit? Who was the one who folds the clothings? Who was the one who sacrifice her studying time to do ALL the accounts? Who was the one? This is really damn @#$%^&*

She keeps telling the counsellor that "WE" did not help her. WTH. If I was not the one who help her with all these, then who else? The unknown GHOST at home? Well, if that's the case, she better pray that this GHOST will help her forever.

My dad's relative got married. As he is always busy with his work, mummy and I represented him. That was my first time driving to town. Wow...! That’s my extremely big accomplishment. Haha... I am so proud of myself. I shall give myself a pat on my back. ^-^

Wedding dinner was at Holiday Inn Hotel. The food was not bad. (Definitely much better than my Prom Night). I was really fascinated by the first dish of the night. They placed ice cubes with illuminating colours in the glass which is placed in the middle of the dish. Other than the colour shown in my picture, there are many other colours such as green, blue, red and etc.

The worst dish of the night was Wasabi Prawn. This combination isn’t my cup of tea. Of course, in my personal opinion, wasabi and prawn doesn’t go well at all. In the end, I gave that dish a miss. The rest of the dishes are rather common. Such as abalone soup, fish, vegetables and dessert.

Within 1 week, I spent a lot. Really A LOT! I bought:

Gosh! I seriously need to refrain from spending further. But I just can’t curb my mood. I think I better stop shopping for the time being.

I shall try to distract my attention to studying. Exams are just 3 months away. This time, I must pull up my socks and not to disappoint myself again. I hate it when I can’t achieve my expectations. ACCA exams are really not easy. Haiz... But what can I expect when I personally don’t think I put in enough effort. Probably like the under meaning of what “THAT PERSON” said indirectly, I AM STUPID. I can’t agree more now. I am downright stupid!

I shall call this person ABC.

Today is ABC’s birthday. I have been contemplating since the past few days whether to wish ABC a very happy birthday. I have read ABC’s very last email to me. I had very much wanted to reply. But, what should I type? Recently, my mom asked me how is ABC, I doesn’t know what to answer so I kept quiet.

Things are never like before. Both of us are living our own lives. I really doesn’t want this friendship to go on with such great misunderstanding. But, will this misunderstanding be cleared? I have been thinking a lot these days. What is the exact source that made ABC have that thinking and mentality that I am such a person? Was I even such a person? I think this answer is best left to be answered by those close to me.

I remember our secondary school times vividly. Once, a group of us celebrated ABC’s birthday in our class which was just next to the toilets. It was a birthday party organized by a particular person. Playing with the water hose, water guns, hiding in the toilets trying to avoid getting wet and etc. It was really nice to see ABC enjoying.

Sometimes, ABC and I will chat on the phone at night. Pouring our hearts out to each other. We will chat about everything under the sun.

Previously, before Sherline got transferred out, the 3 of us used to go to our school fitness corner for the swing. Sherline will always tie the 2 thick ropes to form a swing and she is always the one who has the strength to push the both of us. After that, we will take turns to push each other. Those times were just so relaxing, filled with fun and laughter.

However, we drifted further when we split class in Sec 3. Both of us were taking different subjects. I was quite a loner in my own class. Always being bullied by the guys in class and no one could be there for me. I had to defend myself. Occasionally, I cry to myself.

ABC has ABC’s own clique in class. Very often, we will have lunch in ABC’s classroom with ABC’s clique. Back then, although we have a common topic - Arashi, but still there was a gap. I felt so outcasted especially when ABC and clique talk about their subjects. Most of the time, I can’t talk much as I don’t take the exact same papers. But I still make an effort to blend myself in. Sherline was the only person I can talk to after school as we both take the same papers other than DnT and FnN.

Was it because of the discord the C*** did during Sec 1 that makes ABC no longer trust me? Or ABC did not even trust me right from the start? Or was it after the discord then ABC stopped trusting me? Since that misunderstanding in Sec 1, was I regarded as her best friend even? So many unanswered questions left me very perturbed.

Was I there when she needed help? I don’t know. What I did previously, was it actually considered a best friend lending a helping hand and listening ear?

I remember my parents asking ABC over for dinner many times, even ABC’s younger brother was invited.
I remember asking ABC over when I was having my tuition so that ABC was able to clarify whatever doubts ABC is having with my tutor free of charge. My tutor was perfectly fine with that too. One year, I remember my tutor even gave ABC something during ABC’s birthday.

Anyway, all these will just remain as memories. Wonderful memories that accompanied me during my growing up phase in life. Memories that I will keep dear to me forever, etched in my mind, never be erased. I never regretted regarding her as my best friend.

I am definite that my conscience is clear. God in heaven is the best vouch for me. I had never ever backstabbed ABC, neither did I try to get into ABC’s good books when I needed ABC’s help. I swear that ABC was NEVER a fair weather friend whom I can just cast aside when I don’t need. Seriously, how nice if we could just turn back time....

I sincerely wish that we can still be friends like before and not just Hi-Bye friends.

Anyway, I just want to wish ABC a Superb Happy Birthday. Hope your days will always be filled with only fun, laugher, love, joy with your dearest ones. Most importantly, you are blessed with great health!

I am back! Internet was down, therefore I can’t do much updates. Anyway, nothing exciting happened. I was reading my friend’s blog and saw a blog link. Do you happen to know the news about this pilot cadet who passed away in Brunei after a jungle trek? The link on my friend’s blog is his girlfriend’s blog. I went to read her entries which made my vision blurry. Even to date, I left her blog with teary eyes.

Losing someone so dear to you is really heart-stricken.

Someone who you hope to depend on forever
Someone who you desire to be with forever left you all of a sudden without giving any signal. You were hit unexpectedly by a heart wrenching news that left you distraught with grief, regret and at a loss of what to do.
Indeed, that is a horrifying feeling.

Before one is deprived of this chance to say how much you treasure your loved ones, hurry tell them how much you value them, how much they meant to you and how much you appreciate them entering your life.

Some footprints are just so far from the tides that they will not be washed off easily whereas some are so near that they only stay for a short period of time before they get washed off. Dear dear... Last Saturday, I was down with terribly high fever. Upon hearing my sms ringtone, I woke up to read dear dear’s sms. I felt so horrible. I could hardly stand properly. I took my temperature and was shock to see the temperature. Dear dear came and he took great care of me. He wet the towel and put it on my forehead. Sitting beside me, taking care of me, took my temperature, feed me my medicine and the green bean soup. I feel so loved. Haha...

My temperature kept escalating so he took me to the doctor at night. Dear dear accompanied me into the consultation room and the doctor asked me whether is he my husband, I said no. Haha... Deep in my heart, how I wished he is. Hehe...

Yes! Finally! A 3D2N chalet with Dear, Sherline n her bf. This chalet kept me motivated to finish my exam during the 2weeks of tormenting stress.

Just days before the chalet, Dear dear and I went grocery shopping for BBQ food and things for BBQ. We set a budget so we tried to maximise the number of items we can buy with that constraint amount.

The guys tried to get the fire starting while we girls prepare the food for BBQ.

Something really terrible happened yesterday. I cried for almost 1 whole day.

I was about to iron the clothes and my parents came home. She asked me to blend fruit juice for dad, so I immediately stop what I was doing and did what I was told. After blending, I washed up everything and went to play the Nintendo for awhile. Just then, she saw me playing game and started to shout and chided me for not doing housework and not helping them. #$%^&*

I was so angry! In the first place, when did I ever mention I do not want to do the housework? No matter how unwilling I am, I will still drag myself to do it. I decided to ignore her and went into my sister’s room. My sister was also being dragged into the picture for sleeping till noon and not helping her with the chores.

Hours later, she came into the room tearing and started shouting and pointing fingers and us. She even asked us to leave the house. GREAT! I was intending to do so even if she did not say. I asked Sherline for permission to stay overnight and sms dear dear about what happened.

Dear dear keep discouraging me from leaving home. But there’s a limit to my patience. She has been doing the same thing over the past few years, be it whether we have a maid at home or not. She is really getting on my nerves.

After they left for dinner, my sister and I packed our things and left home. We went for our dinner with my dear accompanying us. My head was spinning. I was having a severe headache. Dear prompted me many questions about my dad and etc. Daddy is the innocent party. I really feel bad to make him worry so in the end, I decided to go home only during the wee hours. But my sister went to stay with her friend.

Dear and I were sitting in the park chatting. Seconds, minutes and hours ticked by... I suddenly don’t feel like going home. I dread being at home. I dread seeing her. I dread talking to her. I dread everything about her. I wanted to stay out for the night but dear don’t allow.

In the end, dear got angry and dragged me home. I cried all the way from the park until I was home. That walk seems so long but I wish that it will never end so that I will never reach home.
Dear make sure I was in my room before he left for home. I felt so like a burden to him. He has to wake up around 6am in the morning but accompanied me till around 2+am.

That terrible night, I cried myself to sleep.

I hope nothing like this happens again.

Dearest drove me to Pet Movers. The puppies there are simple irresistible! I have the urge to cuddle them and bring the home that instance. In future, I want to get a puppy when I have my own house. Of all the puppies there, I quite like Golden Retriever, Italian Grey Hound, Husky, Labrador and Pembroke Corgi. But for some of the breed, they are rather big in size when they are fully grown. Shrug... I shall make my decision when I am really getting them.

After looking at the puppies, we went to buy stuffs for Tasha. I am getting her a proper toilet. Haha... Finally, she is able to do her business privately, without the surveillance of anyone. I recommend dogs and cats owners to get their things at this one-stop pet shop. The sales personnel are really well equipped with knowledge and they have certified dog trainers. With passion card, you also get 15% discount off your purchases. I saw Tasha’s toilet selling at $80 elsewhere and I bought it for only $25 after discount. Yes! That’s how cheap the things are. I bought her toilet, litter, food, toy and a scooper for $44 in total. I will patronise that place again.

We went Giant for lunch, shopped there for a while and went Ikea which is just opposite. It is also so fun going Ikea. Too bad, we can’t find the kind of plate use for baked rice. Other than that, we managed to get what we want.

I was telling dear dear that in future, we can shop at Giant for our groceries, Ikea for furnitures, Courts for electronic goods and lastly, Pet Movers for our puppy! Haha... Killing 4 birds in 1 stone. Isn’t that great?

Daddy and my sister ate our cheesecake and commented it was too sweet. It was my entire fault. I did not dissolve the sugar well enough. Lesson learnt.

Well... Of course there are still some people who find it nice. Hehe... Glad that our efforts did not go down to the drain.

But we certainly need to improve on our Mango Milk Pudding. If not for the mango, it really doesn’t taste nice at all.

It’s baking time!!! Dear dear came to my house in the morning to bake! We decided to bake Oreo Cheesecake and also make Mango Milk Pudding. This is quite a special day for us because it is our 16months anniversary. Choosing to bake on this special day makes it very unique.
After baking the cheesecake, Dear and I concluded that the cake mixture seems more reliable and durable as compared to the oven. Anyway, the oven is purely used on a short term basis, so I am not really bothered by it.

It is very fun baking with my Dearest. I like it when we do things together and brainstorm on how to improve it and etc. I like it when I have a certain idea and he has the same frequency as me. Being able to find a partner who understands you thoroughly and without speaking, he knows what you are thinking is really great! I can only say I am really blessed. Hehe...

After finish baking our cake, we went to a special KFC outlet for lunch. I personally think that this outlet located at Fuchun CC is really great. They give the deaf an opportunity to work and earn a living for themselves. It gives them a feeling that they are not out-casted by the society and in fact, they are wanted and accepted by us. That KFC have facilities that cater to the needs and convenience of the deaf. I sincerely wish that each and every person will treat them as normal and not look at them differently.

Finally, I made my donation for the Sichuan Earthquake. Been too occupied with my exams preparation recently, thus this was delayed. Although my contribution was not much, but I do hope that little money of mine is able to help someone out there. As the clock strike 6.15pm on Tuesday, I was screaming in my heart. YES! That was the time I have been looking forward to. But I guess I am going to retake certain papers. Haiz... I am so disappointed with myself. I thought I was well-prepared for them but all my efforts went down to drain. So does my money.

Still, I think I am going to take 4 papers next semester. I am trying to adopt the “Never say die” attitude. Haha... All thanks to my dearest encouragement and support. Otherwise, I think I may not even sit for any papers.

Can you believe I got so stressed that I broke down just 5 minutes before the paper? I still remember vividly that day was my law paper. I called my parents telling them I intend to back out from this June sitting and take in Dec. But they urged me to try it nevertheless. I shall cross my fingers and hope I pass that paper so that I can proceed on with other core papers.
After my last paper, Dear and I met up with Sherline and her bf for dinner and to watch Kung Fu Panda. It is a super hilarious movie which is very suitable for me to distress after a long stressful and tense period.

I think I am really lucky for having the 2 important BF in my life. They are both indispensible in different ways. I felt so relaxed with I am with them. Being able to meet Sherline on Tuesday, I realised how much I missed her presence. Due to my exam preparation from April, I stopped meeting her. Ger... I’m really sorry for neglecting you. But no matter what, you are still my “BESTEST” friend and no one else and replace that special place in my heart.

Now, I have a long list of “To Do List” waiting for me to enjoy and relax. I made this list while I was mugging. For example, baking, retail therapy, chalet, watch my dramas which I bought at Poh Kim warehouse sale. Solely on dramas, I spent around $200+. I also spent $500+ on Akira sales. That was when I bought my long awaited oven and mixer. Haha... I want to bake cheese cakes! Yum Yum...

Something "big" happen a couple of days ago. I was very affected by it. I can’t sleep well, can’t concentrate on my revision. I just can’t do anything. My time was wasted on pondering what I did wrong. In the end, I broke down while chatting with my dearest. In fact, I broke down several times over this issue. Yes. Just 1 “BIG” issue.

The feeling of being maligned hurts a lot, especially when this person was once your very good friend. My heart was aching like nobody’s business. My thoughts were wondering around during my lessons. My mind was in a whirl.

I am definite that I made sure that there were no hurting words or statement in my email before I clicked the sent button. I even apologized when it wasn’t my wrong in the very first place! Still, never did I expect this person’s reaction to be so big.

We were once very close friends. We have known each other for a pretty long period of time even my parents know this person. I can swear that my mom even like this person. I thought this person understands me and know me rather well even to date. Never did I expect this same person to misunderstand me.

Now I know in this person’s eyes, I am:
Someone who looks down on people,
Someone who talks big,
Someone who doesn’t appreciate,
Someone who doesn’t cherish friendship,
Someone who brings shit and trouble,
Someone who pops out of nowhere and ask for a favour.

I paid a very heavy price for being nice. It was a price so heavy that I can’t handle. I guess our friendship will never be the same again. I guess I shall put an end to everything.
E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. I don’t think I want anything to do with this person ever again. I do not want to get hurt again.

Sherline even suggested for a meet up with this person to clarify everything. I dread explaining myself when I am not in the wrong. I am utterly disappointed in this person. I have learnt my lesson.

Moral of this lesson:
1) It never pays to be nice. So why be nice?!?
2) A simple statement can be misinterpreted into a hundred forms. So be careful with
everything you say or type. You never know what shit you will get yourself into.

My heart is still aching. I need a long period of time to recover. I am trying really hard to cast this issue aside so that I can concentrate on my revision.

I am glad that I still have my family, Sherline and my dearest who truly understands me. I am contented.

Here comes my determination and motivation. With my dearest “bf” (Sherline) and bf giving me moral support, I have more willpower to study and study and study. I am anticipating very little leisure time, window shopping, stoning, rotting, sleeping and etc all because I made a very difficult decision; registering for 4 papers instead of the initial 3 I decided on.

Mummy was asking me to take my time. But I don’t want to. I want to graduate faster and enter the working society and start earning my very own income. I have so many things to buy but of course, due to money constraints, I refrained myself.

I shall get back to my books. It’s mugging season. I "LOVE" mugging. I must love it in order to conquer it.

Dear dear bought his Sony Camera – T70 and Sony Photo printer on Thursday. I stare in awe as the small printer prints out good and nice quality pictures. This printer brings convenience as I can print photos anytime and I am even make it into calendars. Now I have 1 photo calendar and several pictures on my nicely decorated study desk. After exams, I am going to print and print and print our pictures. Haha…

I went Chinatown to get my toiletries with my dearest on Saturday. Dear drove there while I cam-whored in the car. His camera is so sleek, nice and interesting. I can’t get my hands off it. After playing with his camera, I set my mind. If my current camera breaks down, I am going to get a Sony Cybershot.

After lunch and buying my stuffs, we went to Courts and Ikea in Tampines. I find these 3 megastores well located. Imagine buying furniture from Ikea then head to Courts for electric appliances and Giant for groceries and etc. That’s killing three birds in one stone!

Dear is an avid Sony supporter because he bought 3 Sony products in 3 days. First is the camera and printer. Next is the really beautiful, elegant, pristine Vaio lappy. The lustrous beauty really sweep me off me feet. I feel like owning one! Please provide me with a valid reason to buy a laptop. Haha… But why would I buy a laptop when I am not in need of any. Otherwise, that Sony lappy will be my ultimate choice.

Ikea is our next stop. We bought our desk pads and scratching board for my cutie Tasha. Tasha has been scratching my poor computer chair. Its time to get her something so that she can scratch all she wants.

We went for dinner at Breeks. The food is not bad and they serve us with our orders quite fast. Their service is commendable too. Finally, we headed home for photo printing. =)

Exams are around 2 months away. I had actually wanted to take 4 papers this semester, but given my capability, I doubt I can do it. Thus, I decided to take just 3 instead. I think I am dragging the time I can graduate. Haiz…

I just tend to procrastinate because I have no motivation to study. I keep telling myself, “Tomorrow must finish these chapters.” But in the end, I may not even have touched my books. I felt so “有心无力” To put it simply, I’m just lazy. But at least I managed to keep myself updated for 1 paper. I must get this momentum going and revise the other 2 papers. I must pull up my socks.

Today is a very long day for me. Early in the morning, after I finished bathing, I was greeted by Tasha with her LS in front of the toilet door. OMG! Tasha got so sick that she LS. Her condition must have worsen. But she’s still has cat instinct. She actually covered her LS with a towel. So cuteeeeee!

Attended lesson in the morning then went out with my sister to get a basket for Tasha so that we can bring her out in it. Then I drove her home and went to my parents shop to drive my mom home. After that, rushed home again to fetch my sister and Tasha and went to meet Sherline then we headed to the vet. Luckily we managed to reach there on time. Phew…

Tasha was given 2 jabs. One to stop her from LS and the other is for her fever. Poor Tasha. She’s now on medication but she doesn’t like the taste of the syrup that she spilled it out. Really heart ache to see her like that. Haiz…Hope she recovers fast.

All thanks to Sherline, I managed to get a slot and bring Tasha to the vet at Jurong Kechil. Their services are really superb and the costs are quite reasonable. The people there are also very friendly and approachable.

Most probably I’ll bring Tasha there for checkups in future. =)

My baobei Tasha is sick. Her eye right eye changed colour. My sister’s friend said that it is either down with fever or eye infection. Guess what… The unknown doctor at home prescribed Tasha with human panadol. When Mummy and I was feeling Tasha with the dissolved panadol, my heart ached. My poor Tasha. Hope she recover soon, otherwise, I would have to bring her to a vet.

I am starting to countdown to this Friday 5am. Dear dear is coming back from Thailand. I can’t wait to see him. Miss him like mad. Most probably, I am going to fetch him and give him a surprise. Hehe… Friday hurry come!!!

I am obsessed with this new love. When I set my eyes on it for the 1st time, I fell in love with it. When I smelt it, I was deeply in love. It is none other than Vera Wang – Truly Pink Fragrance.

I think I have a fetish over fragrances especially those flowery scents. To me, they are rather expensive indulgence. The worst part is, I still have at least 5 unopened perfumes in my cabinet! Nevertheless, I still like it. Haha… Surfed Ebay Auction to see how much they sell. Singapore departmental stores are selling it for around $150. Cheaper ones also cost at least a hundred. Gosh. So EXPENSIVE! But I am keen on getting one.

Dear dear went Thailand for 2 weeks already. Miss him so much. Now I truly understand this statement “Absence makes the heart grow founder”. Purely looking at pictures makes me think of him even more. Suddenly, I felt that our pictures are not enough at all. Must take more when he comes back. Every time when he calls back, I felt as if he is very near me. But in fact, he is miles away from me.

Probably we can use this 1 month as a test to our love for each other.. However, I am confident that both of us will pass this test of love. Hee…^-^ Endure for 2 more weeks and I can see him. Hope he is all well and fine there.

Today, Dear dear left me……… for 1 month training in Thailand!!! Haiz… Can’t celebrate my birthday on the actual day. He was given 3 days off before his trip. I was glad that we meet up everyday.

On Wed, both of us went to pray with his mother. After sending his mother home, we went for Mac breakfast. Then we send my car for servicing. Next, we went home to take my notes and he drove me to school. Hehe… We on my car navigator and there was no signal when we entered the multi-storey carpark in PS. Lousy.

After my lesson, dear dear was waiting for me and we went to my parents’ shop to fetch my mummy. Seriously, I still prefer to be driven than to drive. Haha…

Thursday, I made lunch for dear dear... Guess what I cooked?? Haha... Spaghetti. Nothing surprising I guess. Haha...

I accompanied Dear to Causeway Point to find something and to change Thai Baht. The rate there is simply too low so we decided to go Old Woodlands Centre. Jam Jam Jam! All thanks to Mas Selamat. The jam was horrible and terrible. Thus we asked the bus uncle to drop us halfway and we walked to our destination. After changing his money, we bought little snacks and walked home. We made the right choice by not taking public transport because we were faster than the bus as there was a jam. Luckily, our house was within walking distance.

Friday is the last day before Dear departs Singapore for Thailand. We had prata for breakfast. Today, I prepared lunch for dear again. Haha… What do you think I cooked?? Spaghetti again. Haha… He requested for that.

I had a surprise this morning! Dear dear made “爱心早餐” for me. 4 pieces of tuna sandwich with cheese, 1 cheese baked beans, 2 cheese sausages and 1 packet of HL milk. Isn’t it a sumptuous cheesy breakfast? Hehe…
Dear dear wanted to bring me out for an advance birthday meal so we decided to go MS for Sakae Sushi buffet. Before heading MS, we shopped at Suntec for awhile and drink my all time favourite Bubble Tea. Around 5+, we went MS Sakae and realised they have supper buffet from 9pm-11pm. Since both of us are not hungry, so we decided to shop till 9 for the buffet.

We waited for quite awhile just to get seats on the floor. Haha… I find this idea quite unique because you can’t find it in other Sakae outlet. (If I am not wrong, MS Sakae is the only one with this concept). We were so anxious and keep taking whichever sushi which looks nice. In less than half an hour, we were both fill. The worse part is I ordered a lot and some of food have not arrived yet. Gosh… Gorging ourselves with sushi is no fun.

Conclusion: Both of us are not buffet-like-of-person. Our stomachs are so small that it gets filled up fast. Luckily, we did manage to make our $36 worth.

Dear dear and I celebrated our 1yr anniversary! Although the actual day is on the 19th, but dear will be in camp, so we celebrated in advance. We went Vivo City and watched CJ7. The rubbery and fluffy looking CJ7 is sooooo cute. I have the urge to squeeze it. I think I am a 100% Pisces. I cried when CJ7 sacrifice itself to save Chou Xing Chi. So childish of me. ><

Dinner at Hong Kong Kim Gary. We had what we ate in Christmas Eve 2006. That was a very special day for the both of us. =)

Headed home to exchange our 1st anniversary presents. I love the present he made. I was so touched by everything and I tear for the 2nd time in 1 day.

Dear dear bought a Volkswagen Beetle model. But he claimed that it is his. Anyway, it is with me now! Keke…

I want to make this entry as detailed as possible for me to reminisce this special day.

This year's Valentine's Day is definitely an unforgettable one. I went chalet with Dear, Sherline n Firdaus. Dear and I tried to check in the chalet earlier but our room was not ready yet so we went for lunch at BK first.

After lunch, we managed to check in. Sherline and Firdaus came awhile later. The four of us headed for Wild Wild West. All of us had actually wanted to go to the theme park but it is only open on weekends.

At Wild Wild Wet, we had the Family ride for countless time. Personally, I think that is the most interesting activity there. We can even take picture at a certain point of the ride. We all decided to seek for a perfect picture and after umpteen times of the ride, we finally got 1. Haha... We cam-whored after attempting everything at Wild Wild Wet.

Dear and I hurried back to the chalet to wash up as Dear made a dinner reservation at a restaurant rather near Changi Village. The restaurant ambience is quite nice. I think they serve rather unique food which you can't commonly find it outside. In addition, we were away from the crowd, away from other couples. Haha... IF I did not remember wrongly, the restaurant is Samur at the Manasseh Hall.

After dinner, we went to somewhere quiet and exchanged our vday presents. Hehe... It was getting late so we went back to chalet.

When we reached chalet. Sherline and Firdaus opened the door and total darkness would have engulfed me if not for the lights on the candles. They started singing birthday song for me. Ok. It was my very advanced birthday celebration. Dear dear will be going Thailand for the whole month of March, thus, he wanted to give me a surprise advance birthday celebration. I was really touched and shock for words.

Dear... Really thanks for the surprise, celebration and every little things you have done for me. I appreciate and will etch every single moment we spent together in my heart.

Sherline and Firdaus, thanks for making the surprise a surprise. Your presence at the chalet make everything complete. Thanks so much for making that surprise and celebration a memorable one.

It was cake cutting session after making my usual wishes. The Chocolate Fudge Cake from Emicakes was really delicious but sinful though. All of us think that is the best Chocolate cake we ever tasted. All thanks to Sherline's wise decision. ^-^

We yam-seng-ed for many times in the camera. It was so fun. Haha... Before we lou-hei, the three of them smeared cake on my face. Thanks for inviting ants to me, but of course, that was unsuccessful as I washed it off. Haha...

We lou-hei-ed. Fun! All of us prefer the cracker than other ingredients. With this group of people, time is always fun-filled and filled with laughter. Playing with sparklers was what I am scared of since young. But it is not longer on my scared list. Million thanks to Dear and Sherline. Haha...

I gave dear 2 surprises, one is on our vday present and another was in his bag. But I think he did not see it when I asked for his wind-breaker. So Sherline gave a rather lame excuse to make him see his bag. Haha...

Sherline bought mini-mahjong set. The tiles look so edible like candy and I have the urge to eat it. And it is purple in colour!!! My favourite colour! Hehe...

We played for a round and ended the game because they wanted to eat my tuna sandwich made with love by Bird. Haha...

We watched Finding Nemo and after the movie, we went to bed. The room was so cold that I covered myself in dear's wind-breaker and 2 blankets and I am still cold. I am so useless.

Next day, we have to check out around 10.30am. Thus, all of us woke up rather early to wash up. We were all quite unhappy with the early check out time so we decided to return the keys and remain in the room until we have the mood to leave. Haha...

Dear and I went People's Park to buy something while Sherline and Firdaus went home after chalet. Can see that Dear is very tired. But I guess, we all enjoyed this chalet to the max. I want Chalets with them again!!!

Daddy bought a new van and a car. Our van went through thick and thin with my daddy and it is our main source of income. It got too old thus daddy changed a new van. Imagine working 365days a year. Wow! Humans can’t even take it, needless to say, a vehicle.

Daddy bought an MPV – Honda Stream. It has been ages since I last drove in February 2007. I had been driving mummy from work these days. Getting more familiar with the road and of course, boosted my confidence to drive on the highway.

I dislike peak hours. Reckless drivers can be spotted easily. You have to be alert and on guard during this busy timing. I once saw 1 horrible driver who was driving on Lane 1. He then overtakes all the way to Lane 3 and even drove on the road shoulder! Seconds later, he lane change to Lane 1 and cut his way to Lane 3. This kind of driver is really accident pest on the road. They ought to be punished severely.

Recently, I watched the news and shockingly, they are going to open another 16 more gantries. OH MY GOSH! Petrol is an expensive factor and now, these gantries. Government is really bent on making its citizens take public transport. Heard insider info on how much the government earn solely on ERP itself. This can shock you off your seat I tell you. Taxi drivers will definitely be the first to feel from this increase. The increment of cab fare, petrol and this, I think people will think twice before hailing for one.

Nothing much to talk about CNY. As usual, my family together with a few of my parent’s workers went to restaurant for reunion dinner. Seriously, I yearn for a reunion dinner just the 4 of us. But this will not be fulfilled in the near future as long as daddy is still in this biz. CNY gathering at uncle’s house is getting emptier. Fewer relatives are coming over but the annoying ones never fail to turn up. They are really so crude and selfish.

I went dear’s house to bai nian on chu er. Hmm… His parents and grandparents are very warm and nice. I personally think his family quite cute. Haha… ^-^

Well, a really quick update on what I had done for the past months when I haven’t been updating. But bear with me because the post can be quite long.

My house underwent 2 weeks slight renovations, painting and installing the build-in cabinets for both my sister and I and installing new air conditioners for everyone. Now, I have a much bigger cabinet to put my clothes. That means I can afford to buy more nice clothes to fill it up! Haha… I want to thanks dear dear for helping out when my house was upside down with mess and dirt.

24 Dec - Uncle Beng came to Singapore. That night some time after the clock strike 12pm, I gave my dearest a birthday surprise so that I will be the 1st person he see on his birthday. =)

25 Dec – Happy Birthday to my Dearest! Dear and I accompanied Uncle Beng to Senai Airport because he was flying to Kuching to oversee the renovations of grandma’s house. That’s the first time Dear and I went out of Singapore together. Hehe… ^-^

At night, we went Raffles Place to sit and chat. Dear was told by his friend that this particular hotel has the lousiest service and the food wasn’t that great. A couple of days after that, we saw this newspaper article about the cost of holding wedding dinners at the various established hotels. Never did we expect this hotel is the most expensive in Singapore!!! Gosh!

26 Dec and 27 Dec – Happy Birthday to Sherline! Celebrated her birthday on 27 Dec. Shopped Far East for almost the whole day for CNY clothes but did not see any to our liking. The recent style is not our cup of tea.

29 Dec – Liang Jing Ru’s 今天情人节 concert. Her concert was great and fantabulous. Her voice is so clear and nice when you listen to her sing in real. She sang many of her signature songs and really blew me off my feet with her voice. Most importantly, she sang 现场and she did not go out of tune at all. Her stage props are so interesting and cute, e.g. the boat, the heart-shaped chair, the 巴黎铁塔and etc. How I wish I can listen to her concert till dawn.

31 Dec – Last day of 2007! Dear drove me to Ikea Tampines and I bought a lot of things. On the last day of the year, Dear drove me for the 1st time. Haha… At night, we went to Woodlands Mrt Station to see fireworks. We took a few last pics for 2007 and many pics for start of 2008.

5 Jan – I went hunting for CNY clothes with Dear, Sherline and her bf. Finally, I bought 3 dresses in 1 shop. I like most of their dresses, it really suit me. Dear also helped me choose nice clothes. ^-^

10 Jan – I went shopping in Malaysia with Mummy after we sent Uncle Don to Senai Airport. I bought the LV Bag I like. Hehe… Mummy also bought 1 LV and 1 Prada Bag.

YES! Exams are finally over and I fell sick the very next day till now. Thank goodness I did not fall sick when I was busy mugging and worrying about my papers. I was down with rather high fever, flu, cough and sore throat. Weather these days is so bad that those dearies around me are falling sick. Dear got sick on the same day as me. Haha… I must recover soon as I have so many things waiting for me to finish. This is going to be a busy December, but I love to be busy. Haha…

Dear came over to my house to help out with my dad’s accounts. Mummy told him a lot of stories that I never heard of. Wow… In my opinion, Mummy seemed to be hinting him something. But anyway, it is something nice, so I am not really bothered by it.

I am really elated that Daddy and Mummy are getting along pretty well with Dear. That is something I hope since we got together. Having both our parents’ approval makes me feel at ease.

Dearie Sherline and I meet up last Thursday and we had a shopping spree! We went Esprit Café for dinner. They serve mini-cheesecakes in really small servings! Nice… Secret Recipe has really fabulous cheesecakes too! Yummy… At this rate I am eating, I am surely going to gain a few kgs. I am such a glutton.

2 papers down and I already have a bad feeling. I am confident that I have to retake my Law paper next June. How great... What I expected to come out, was not tested at all, and what I least expect, was tested. Horrible… Tax was not much easier as compared to past years, but I really hope that I can at least score a 50 just to pass. *Crossing my fingers*

Mummy was saying I am too greedy by taking so many papers. But I beg to differ. I can only blame on myself for not being well prepared.

I was really stressed until I fall sick. Kept feeling very cold when I woke up and I already put on my jacket and even wore socks and I am still feeling cold. I vomited when I did not even eat much and my head felt like as if it weighs a thousand tons. I only had a few spoonful of lunch and I am full. All of a sudden, I think I am beginning to have examination phobia.

I shall go and study for my next paper which is on Monday… After that, I can play play and play before school reopens.

gStressed to the max! That's how I am feeling at this moment. Exams have not even started and I am already thinking of how to enjoy and pamper myself after exams. This is one of the way to keep me motivated and the desire to finish studying and look forward to exams.

Probably I am too keen on memorising the laws in the shortest time possible that I am not flexible in the viable ways I can use to study. Luckily my dear was there and he helped me with it. Thanks dear...! Going for midnight mugging with my friend tomorrow. Hope the sleepy bugs will stay far away from me. Shoo shoo far away!

I AM SO STRESSED!!!! Help... My brain is really bursting anytime now. I have been studying my law for the past few days. I told myself that I must overcome my fear in this paper. About 5 more chapters and I'll be done with my law but I think the more I memorise, the lesser I can remember about what I tried to remember in the earlier topics. How how how???

S157(1)CA, S157(4)CA, S156CA, S203CA, S174CA, S175CA, S4CA, S216CA and the list just goes on and on... These statutory laws are really making me mad. Not forgetting the common laws such as Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball, Re City Equitable Fire Insurance Ltd, Hyde v Wrench, Adams v Lindsell and etc... I really take my hat off those people who major law in universities.

I was told by my friend that for some people, no matter how many times they revise and do the revision kit, they can still fail their exams. This is really horrifying. One of them even scored 49 for 3 papers. That is really too much of a coincidence. I am scared. I definitely do not want to fall in this pathetic category. Was told that almost everyone after taking their exams will feel demoralised. Upon reading this message, I have the urge to really sit down and keep studying and revising but my concentration span is simply so short so is my memory. Haiz....

I shall continue with my mugging even though it is already 3:44am now. Hope my hardwork will pay off. Endure for another 20 days and I can enjoy my short break. Wish me all the luck for exams k...

I know I shouldn’t be blogging at this crucial moment, but I really need a medium to shout out. Time is tickling away second by second. Time is really running out and I have so many things to cramp into my tinie weenie brain. Law especially. This paper has drained my brain cells and I feel that my brain has aged by umpteen years. Any food recommendations to nourish my poor brain cells? This time round, I am never gona give up on any papers unlike what I did back in poly. Performance management is another killer. Hope I will not be killed by this. I must learn the skills to kill it instead. Haha…

I have this classmate who wants to meet up because she has doubts on tax. Half of me really wants to help her, but the other half of me is reluctant because that means I have lesser time committed to my revision. How how how??? What will you do if you were me? Haiz…. Dilemma… But how can I reject her when she comes all the way from Bedok to meet me???

Can this sleepy head sleep lesser everyday??? I am just not disciplined enough to wake up earlier in the morning to start revision. Procrastinating is what I can definitely ace in. Wow…! This is certainly not something I am tested in exams. HELP!!! I need a super loud alarm clock to shock me out of dreamland!

I went RP to study and dear dear was there to accompany me. I felt kinda bad to drag him along just to accompany me. I should say it is much easier to find available study tables in RP rather than the library in Woodlands. Probably I can consider going there to study again. But I don’t really like the toilet. Haha...

Time, kindly tick away slowly. I sincerely think I need more time in order to cover my papers extensively. 3 papers only and I think I have difficulty coping. No wonder people say ACCA is not easy. Been thinking whether I should try my luck for 4 papers next semester. I know of the phrase “Slow and steady”. But is this applicable to my situation now? Or I should take the risk? How???
